Your cushion is printed double-sided as standard, which opens up a bit of fun. You can:

• Or keep it single-sided — simply add a blank page to your design and one side prints plain.

To keep your cushion looking its best, it's spot clean or dry clean only — dab spills gently rather than soaking, and use a professional dry clean when it needs a full refresh. Avoid machine washing, which can affect the print and the finish. Kept out of direct, constant sunlight, the colours stay vivid for a long time.

Getting your artwork right for cushion printing

Like our canvas prints, cushions are finished with a wrap, so your artwork needs a generous bleed. Follow these specifications:

• 20mm bleed on all sides — this area is used to finish the cushion and stops white edges appearing, so it must be supplied. Extend your image (not key content) into it.
• Keep crop marks and colour bars removed or outside the 20mm bleed — they can appear on the finished cushion if they sit inside the bleed.
• Supply as a CMYK PDF, preferably PDF/X-1a format.
• 300 dpi resolution at 1:1 scale (actual size).
• Outline or embed your fonts.
• For single-sided, add a blank page to your design (cushions print double-sided as standard).

Keep faces, text and key detail well inside the edge, away from the 20mm bleed. Not sure your file's right? Send it and we'll check it before printing.

Before we print: every cushion is checked

Before your cushion goes to press, our production team checks your file for image quality and resolution, the 20mm bleed, CMYK colour, and that important content sits safely inside the edge rather than in the finishing area.

The most common issue we see is a photo placed right to the edge, where part of it is lost in the seam and wrap. We flag this before printing so you can adjust it, rather than finding it on the finished cushion.

Every file is manually checked before production. If we find a low-resolution image or key content in the bleed area, we'll contact you before printing — so your cushion comes out right first time.
