210 mm Square Perfect Bound Booklets Printed in Croydon, Delivered Across London

210 mm square perfect bound booklets are neat, solid, and just a little bit different. The square shape catches the eye without trying too hard, and the binding gives them that clean, book-style edge. It feels finished and proper. Like something you meant to make, not something that just came off the copier.

Let's say you have a lot to say, maybe a product range, maybe a brand story, maybe a whole year's worth of work, and you want to put it together in a way that people will actually hold onto. That's where these 210mm square perfect bound booklets come in.

Why is 210 mm Square?

Most booklets are rectangles, like A4 and A5. This one's a square. It measures 210 mm by 210 mm. That's roughly the width of A4 but with a shorter height, so it feels compact but still gives your layout room to breathe.

It's the kind of shape that works well for:

  • Lookbooks
  • Brand brochures
  • Catalogues
  • Reports
  • Guides and manuals
  • Portfolios

Basically, if it matters what it looks like, this size helps it stand out without feeling over-designed.

What does ‘Perfect Bound' Mean?

It just means the pages are glued at the spine like a proper paperback. No staples. No coils. Just a smooth, squared-off spine that gives your booklet a clean edge. It also means your booklet needs to be a little thicker, we usually recommend at least 40 pages and up to 88 pages if you're using standard paper. Too thin, and the spine won't hold.

If you're not sure whether your file's long enough, send it over, and we'll check it and let you know.

Paper Choices for Inside Pages

Alright, here's where the feel of your booklet really comes together. We've got a bunch of inner paper options, and they all give slightly different vibes. Some are smooth and glossy, others more natural or matte. Here are the most popular:

  • 90gsm Smooth White – Light, clean, no-fuss.
  • 100gsm Gloss or Silk – A bit more polished, good for colour.
  • 115gsm Gloss or Silk – Slightly thicker, feels more substantial.
  • 120gsm Uncoated – Nice and natural, good if you want it to feel a bit softer.
  • 130gsm Gloss or Silk – Balanced. Smooth and not too heavy.
  • 150gsm Gloss or Silk – Feels more like a high-end magazine.
  • 170gsm Gloss or Silk – Thick. Very solid. Makes photos pop.

Gloss is shiny and vibrant.
Silk is smooth but not shiny.
Uncoated is like proper paper, not treated or glossy.

If you're printing photos, illustrations, or anything visual, gloss or silk is the way to go. If it's mostly text or you want that raw, recycled feel, uncoated's a solid pick.

Covers That Hold Up

The cover's the first thing anyone sees and feels, so it's worth giving it a bit of thought. We've got a few cover options depending on how sturdy or fancy you want to go:

  • 250 gsm Gloss or Silk – Lighter, but still proper.
  • 250 gsm Uncoated – Feels natural, more earthy.
  • 300 gsm Gloss or Silk – Thicker, stronger, and holds its shape well.

Pick 300 gsm if you're going to send them by post or if people will be picking them up a lot. It's strong and holds up well. It doesn't bend or get damaged easily.

Lamination Options, Optional but Worth It

Lamination is a thin layer of coating that goes on the cover. It makes it smoother, protects it from marks and moisture, and changes the whole feel in the hand. Totally optional, but definitely adds something.

You can pick from:

  • No lamination – Keeps the natural paper texture.
  • Gloss laminate (one side) – Shiny, good for photo-heavy designs.
  • Matt laminate (one side) – Smooth, clean, not shiny.
  • Soft touch laminate (one side) – Super smooth, kind of velvety. Fancy, but not flashy.

Soft touch is the one people talk about when they feel it. If you're creating a brochure for a product launch or any luxury item, the soft touch laminate is worth considering.

Please note

Booklets must contain a page total divisible by 4.

It is recommended you do not place words, page numbers or images too close to the edges of each page. We would recommend a safe zone on all sides of at least 10mm for Perfect Bound.
To ensure the best possible finish, please leave the inside spine and 5mm either side of the spine blank as the glue works better on areas with no print.
